No Mas Cantina has a special treat for you and your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day. They’re offering a special 3 course menu PLUS a solid silver ring. Delicious food with a side of JEWELRY! I’m IN! Thanks so much to No Mas Cantina (180 Walker St SW Atlanta, GA 30313 in historic Castleberry Hill) for inviting me and my love to sample their delicious menu, here’s a look at what you can expect.
No Mas Cantina sets the mood before you even walk in the door. Lanterns hung in trees illuminate the parking lot and you are greeted by sculptures even before you speak to a host. The restaurant is filled with gorgeous paintings and wall hangings, all kinds of light fixtures some giant woven shades and some multi colored glass. And it’s all for SALE! You can buy just about anything you see at No Mas, stroll through their Artisan Market and pick up something extra to put in your doggie bag.
No Mas Cantina’s Valentine’s Day Menu including three courses is a reasonable $65 for two guests. Add a little EXTRA LOVE, a silver ring and two house made chocolate truffles to dinner for a total of $110. If you’re flying solo you can get a deal for one person. Items are also available separately if you can’t handle all three courses. Visit No Mas Cantina’s website for all the details.
Here’s a look at the special Valentine’s day Prix Fixe 3 course menu. Choose one item from each section and you are bound to have a wonderful evening.
We started the evening with cocktails by sampling the Tapas y Botanas (appetizers) on No Mas Cantina’s Valentine’s Day Menu.
Choose from Ensalada De Passion, a salad of mixed greens with a goat cheese croquette in passion fruit vinaigrette or the Camarones Del Fuego, shrimp and avocado in a jalapeno vinaigrette
The Especialidades (entrees) are as beautiful as they are delicious, you get to choose one of the three below.
Res Chipotlaida, juicy beef tenderloin with chipotle chocolate rub
Pollo Valentino, Cheesy grilled chicken with spinach, goat cheese, a Guajillo chili cream sauce with a roasted potato medley
My favorite dish of the evening was the Camerones Rellenos, Baked jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab! I mean, what can I say about this? Shrimp stuffed with crab, YES PLEASE! It comes with black bean croquettes and cilantro rice
And then there are the Postres (dessert). Choose one of these three delicious sweets:
White chocolate raspberry cheesecake; Chocolate De Enamorado (handmade chocolate truffles and chocolate dipped strawberries); Caramelo Abrasado ( Molten lava cake filled with caramel and pecans served with vanilla ice dream
Thanks so much to my husband/photographer for the beautiful photos. Thanks again to No Mas Cantina Chef Melody Voirin (pictured below with me, we had a REALLY good time) and owners Walt Bilinski and Steve MacNeil for inviting us to enjoy a fantastic meal.
