Anniversary party ideas sponsored by UncommonGoods
My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary soon so I’ve been browsing the internets for fun decor ideas and new bar items. To me, drinks and dancing are the two best ways to celebrate almost any occasion so we’ll get our playlist ready and invite a few friends over. Let’s get this party started RIGHT.
I’m making my wish list from items found on UncommonGoods’ website. UncommonGoods has a great philosophy of social responsibility. Giving back is made easy through their “Better to Give” program with the option of donating $1 to your favorite non-profit upon checkout.
Many of their items are recycled, organic, and handmade as well as sustainable so I can feel good about purchases made with them. I also love the shout outs they give to the artists that create the items sold on the site. They give you a nice story about the small businesses that make UncommonGoods Special.
Here’s my wishlist of Anniversary party ideas:
Mixtape Door Mat
I like to set the mood for the party as soon as the guests reach a front door. They’ll know they’re in for some good old school music as soon as they see this mixtape cassette doormat. It’s customizable so you can right anything you want on it. Ours will say something clever about 90s Hip Hop, I’m sure.
Continue the “Drinks and Dancing” theme with these mixtape glasses. Guests can write their names (or their D.J. name or the name of their favorite album) in the blank space on their glass.
These are listed under gifts for men but I think they’re great for anyone. Find Gift ideas for Music lovers here
Personalized Whiskey Barrel
We’ll also customize our own whiskey barrel set with our names and wedding date to celebrate that special day. Then we’ll age our house blend of spirits and serve it at the party.
Engraved Decanter Set
Once our whiskey has aged to perfection we’ll transfer it into this engraved decanter. “Yours, Mine and Ours” is the perfect sentiment for an anniversary party. Find more Anniversary or Couples Gifts here
We so when I saw this gorgeous silver edged, rose quartz platter I knew I had to add it to my list of party must-haves. We are getting close to our “silver anniversary” so this would be perfect. Find more pretty household items and Unique Bridesmaid or Girlfriend Gifts here
