Creole Shrimp and Orzo Pasta

I’ve been working on my 15 Minute Meals cookbook for a while now (it’ll be out before the end of the year so stay tuned for that) so I’m always developing and testing recipes. It takes a lot of trial and error to create a delicious recipe that can be done in just 15 minutes. Sometimes I make something delicious but it just doesn’t meet the time restrictions, this is one of those times.

This Creole Shrimp and Orzo Pasta recipe is full of my favorite flavors. Shrimp and sausage in a sauce of simmered bell peppers, onions and tomatoes is about all I need to be happy. Add a little red pepper flakes for spice and you’re good to go. I stir some orzo into this but it is traditionally served over rice.

Creole shrimp and orzo pasta Sweet Savant America's best food blog Atlanta bloggerThis Creole Shrimp and Orzo Pasta recipe is so flavorful and delicious and it’s ready in about 25 minutes. The recipe takes too long for the book so I thought I’d share it here.
