Ingredients
1
red onion
2
comice pears
2
red bell peppers
2
cloves
of garlic
1
teaspoon
red pepper flakes
optional
2
tablespoons
of grape seed or canola oil
1/4
cup
apple cider vinegar
more or less to taste
1/4
cup
honey
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Slice the onions and saute them in a skillet in the oil for 5-7 minutes until the onions become tender and brown
Slice the peppers and add them to the pan with the onions. Cook until they soften, about 5 minutes
Slice the pear (leave the skin on) and and garlic, add to the pan and cook until softened, about 3 minutes
Pour in apple cider vinegar and honey
Simmer for 3-4 minutes
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve on top of chicken or pork
