Chorizo Spice Rubbed Grilled Pork Chops #GrillPorkSweeps

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried cumin
  • 4 center cut pork chops

Instructions
 

  • Smash the cloves of garlic
  • Mix the garlic, paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, kosher salt, dried oregano and dried cumin into the mayonnaise.
  • Rub this mixture all over each pork chop
  • You can let this sit at room temperature for 30 minutes and then grill or
  • Place the pork chops into a zip top bag and store in the refrigerator 3 hours to as long as overnight
  • Remove the pork chops from the refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes
  • Grill the pork chops over hot coals for 4-6 minutes per side, until an instant read thermometer reads 145 degrees.
  • Let the pork chops rest, tented with foil for 3-5 minutes before serving
