Start with baby back ribs

Baby back ribs are incredibly tender and need a very short cooking time. Rub the ribs with your favorite seasoning blend. Learn more about the different types of pork ribs in my video below.

Let the ribs sit at room temperature (optional)

If you have time, let the ribs sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. This helps the ribs cook evenly and gives the seasoning time to soak in. This isn’t mandatory but it gives you a nice result.

Cook your Air Fryer Ribs

Since baby back ribs come from a tender part of the pig they don’t need much cooking to get a tender rib. The air fryer heats up quickly so there is no need to pre-heat it. Simply pop the seasoned ribs in the air fryer and cook at 360 degrees for about 30 minutes. Add sauce if you like but I don’t find it necessary at all. The ribs are so juicy and tender on their own.

I see you have that DC Mambo Sauce and it made a big difference on the ribs as well.

Sorry for this stupid question. I bought a slab of ribs. Not sure they’re Baby Back Ribs. How much longer would I cook these.

Hi Sharon. Not a stupid question at all. I would increase the cooking time by five minutes, then check to see if the ribs are done to your liking. If not, just cook in five minute increments until they are done to your liking. Thanks so much for reading
