7 Hens Chicken Schnitzel Eatery has just opened their second location in Sandy Springs. Sourcing local Georgia chicken breasts the cool folks at 7 Hens cut, pound and bread the all natural chicken in house and fry it up to crisp, juicy perfection.
Michael Gurevich, owner of 7 Hens Chicken Schnitzel, is serious about the quality of his food. He and his well trained staff take great care to see that your schnitzel experience is top notch. Each chicken breast is pounded by hand to just the right thinness and breaded in a special panko blend to just the right thickness. I enjoyed our behind the scenes tour and even got to pound some chicken myself. Michael didn’t take it easy on me, he made sure I schnitzeled perfectly. If it isn’t perfect it does NOT leave the kitchen.
A former skincare businessman, Michael says that schnitzel is wildly popular in his native Israel. He takes Schnitzel international with his wide variety of sauces and seasonings. You can get your chicken grilled or even substitute tofu for chicken, if that’s your thing. They have a TON of toppings to choose from and you can get your schnitzel on white baguette, wheat baguette, white wrap or wheat wrap.
Members of the Atlanta Food Bloggers’ Society and I were invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony, given a behind the scenes tour and some delicious schnitzel to eat, however all opinions are my own.
