Culinary Fight Club Atlanta Bougie burger battle

CULINARY FIGHT CLUB held it’s Bougie Burger Battle at Lucky’s Burger and Brew  in Roswell and it did NOT disappoint. “What is a BOUGIE BURGER?” you may ask. Well, a bougie burger is an over the top, mind blowing burger that you might expect to pay $50 or so. A portion of the proceeds goes to FIGHT TO FEED an organization committed to end hunger starting with Chicago.

Four chefs raced to the pantry to grab their ingredients in less than 30 seconds. The chefs then had an hour to create that $50 burger.

What could possibly top a $50 dollar burger? White Truffle oil is a great place to start, a little Foie Gras would be lovely. The pantry was full of fresh produce, lots of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, avocados, habanero peppers-lots of condiments to choose from. The chefs scrambled to do their shopping and then quickly got to prepping their goods

Chef Dao Le really brought the bougie when he started flipping this FOIE GRAS! It doesn’t get much bougier than that. He seared the Foie over high heat getting a beautiful caramelized crust on each piece.

The sun began to set but the battle raged on into the night. Each chef used  gas grills to cook their burgers, they provided a consistent flame through out the competition.
