The dessert cart is right there at the door when you walk in…calling to you. It knows what you REALLY want. We dined at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse in Atlanta but there are quite a few locations in the eastern U.S..
It’s Georgia so by law you must start your meal with Deviled Eggs. These were tasty and I thought the tiny onion rings on top were just adorable
For brunch Davio’s serves a good mix of breakfast items like pancakes, Belgian waffles, hash browns and omelettes as well as dishes you are more likely to see at lunch or dinner like those DELICIOUS scallops with pork belly that I ordered..ore on that later.
This Oven Baked Jonah Lump Crab Cake (below) is one of the best crab cakes in town. There is very little filler in this crab cake making it very delicate. The crab really shines through.

If you like your brunch more on the breakfast side this fritatta may just be for you. The also make a tasty egg white omelette if that is more to your taste, really you can get your eggs any way you like.
…or maybe have some tenderloin and a popover with your eggs
Davio’s serves a variety of pastas during brunch including this Tagliatelle Bolognese with braised veal, beef and pork
This seared Gorge’s Bank sea scallop dish with pork belly and crackling oyster mushrooms was a real treat. I really can never resist a dish with pork belly and this one did not disappoint! The scallops were cooked beautifully.
Davio’s has a side variety of desserts to choose from so I was happy to see that they offer some of these treats in trios of smaller portions. Their Tiramisu is to DIE for, absolutely delicious.
