I love a great date with my husband and The Blind Pig Parlour Bar (128 E Andrews Dr NW Atlanta) is a fantastic place to go for a date night in Atlanta. The night starts off with a little intrigue as The Blind Pig is tricky to find. First you have to go to Smokebelly BBQ and make your way around the side of the building…you can stop into Smokebelly and ask for directions and a password. Look for this door and an actual (almost) “Blind Pig”
Yeah, I know it looks like nothing much is happening around here but once you get inside…
It’s a sexy SEXY place. A little Victorian, a little Goth VERY cozy and cool
And the FOOD is really good. This Fancy Pimento Cheese with house made Pork Rinds had me at hello
and Crab Deviled Eggs with Flying Fish Roe ( I LOVE the tablecloths by the way)

The cocktails at The Blind Pig were DELICIOUS and the names are hilarious. Left: American’s and Their Boots (Bourbon, the Cochi Bitters, ginger), Right: Fine Thing To Say (Whiskey, black tea, Aquavit, Creme de Cacao, lemon)
I had been wanting to try cask strength Booker’s Bourbon so our fantastic bartender made a Booker’s Old Fashioned…and it was a fine strong drink indeed!
The Blind Pig has a few cozy spaces for you and your crew to hang out. Some fun games and weird stuff on the shelves keep things interesting. There was also live music that added to the sexy, cool vibe
