We’re right in the middle of summer and BOY is it hot out there! I created this amazing Raspberry Watermelon Lemonade Agua Fresca to cool my guests off at my last party. Agua Frescas (Spanish for fresh waters) are fresh fruit juices blended with water and sometimes a bit of sugar. I’m blending all-natural Raspberry Simply Lemonade® with fresh watermelon and serving it out of a WATERMELON KEG! It’s a real show stopper, for sure! I’ll show you how I created it in this step by step tutorial;
First I picked up Simply Lemonade® and Raspberry Simply Lemonade® from my local Sam’s Club, it was bargain at only $3.58 for a 2 pack all summer long. I also picked up a seedless watermelon while I was there. I already had a blender and the watermelon keg tap kit and corer at home.
Second I cut a sliver off the bottom of the watermelon to create a flat surface for the watermelon keg to stand. I then cut off the top of the watermelon and scooped the center of the watermelon out, reserving it for later. Make sure to leave a portion of the bottom intact so it won’t leak.
Place 3 cups of the watermelon pulp in a blender. Add 3 cups of Raspberry Simply Lemonade® and blend it until smooth.
Fix the watermelon keg tap into the hollowed out watermelon then strain the mixture and pour it back into the hollowed out watermelon. Place the top of the watermelon back on.

Place mint sprigs into glasses, fill with Raspberry Watermelon Lemonade Agua Fresca and serve! If you don’t want to go through the trouble of making the watermelon keg just blend the watermelon with the Raspberry Simply Lemonade® and serve it in a pitcher with mint leaves.
I’d love to see your twist on Simply Lemonade this Summer! Pick up some Simply Lemonade and Raspberry Lemonade from your local Sam’s Club and create something SPECIAL! Tell me about what refreshing summer drink you’ll create in the comments below. I’d love to hear your ideas!
