Thanks so much to Chef Melissa Pelkey-Hass (The Front Porch Gourmet)  and Leaning Ladder Premium Olive Oil and Vinegar for introducing me to Topper’s Rhum. Topper’s Rhum (the French spelling of rum) is handcrafted in St. Maarten using high quality ingredients and natural flavors

The Front Porch Gourmet’s resident mixologist Rob Green of Mix It Up Food & Beverage used Topper’s Rhum for some incredible cocktails like this delicious berry mojito. He created a spicy version as well.

Currently Toppers has six varieties of rum in their line including Mocha Mama, Carribean White, White Chocolate Raspberry, Banana Vanilla Cinnamon, Spiced and Coconut. The rums are great in cocktails but are also incredible to sip on their own or over ice. Topper’s Rhum is beautifully presented in colorful, reusable swing top bottles. Topper’s Coconut Rhum is delicious and the bottle is one of my favorite colors, a pretty teal/ocean blue. I would re-purpose that bottle to hold dish soap in my kitchen. Collect a whole bunch of bottles to use for water at a dinner party, wouldn’t that look AMAZING on your table?! Hmmmm, I think I’m going to have to drink quite a bit of rum to get my collection going.

Homegirl’s Farm a USDA Certified Organic Grower in  Woodstock, GA provided all the delicious fresh produce for the evening. If you are local to the North Atlanta Suburbs check out their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program and pick up boxes of fresh, in season, locally grown produce.

Thanks to The Front Porch Gourmet, Topper’s Rhum and Leaning Ladder for inviting me to this wonderful complimentary dinner. All opinions are my own.
