HI Sweeties! I want to keep you up to date on the latest in restaurant reservation technology. Table 8 is a new app that helps you book your hard to get reservation. Sometimes there’s a fee, sometimes there isn’t

I’ve got a bad habit of waiting until the last minute to make a reservation, sometimes I forget about a birthday or anniversary until the day before (or worse, the day of)  and want to go to a special restaurant. I’m usually out of luck, can’t get a table and have to settle for someplace wack. I guess I could cook a fancy meal at home…and I usually do,  but sometime I just want to enjoy a night of fine dining without having to do any cooking or cleanup. Table 8 may be the answer to my dilemma.

A few weeks ago when I heard about Table 8 I did a little research. Sometimes there is a fee to use Table 8 but ” Reservation fees range in price based on table availability at the requested time and date” -according to Table 8’s website. If the restaurant isn’t sold out there is no reservation fee.

Table 8 has partnered with some restaurants that are participating in this service. Once you visit the Table 8 website you select your city and there will be a variety of restaurants to choose from.  Once you choose your restaurant you pick a date from the calendar on the site and the reservation fee (if any) will be posted.

I haven’t tried the app yet but I’ll be sure to update you when I do. What do you think? If you wanted a table at the HOTTEST restaurant in town and it was SOLD OUT would use a restaurant reservation app?
