So now I’m convinced that the best way to entertain is to have a food truck roll up to your house, prepare fresh, delicious food and roll away leaving you no clean up.
Lauren Patrick, editor at PrettySouthern.com, invited the Atlanta Food Bloggers’ Society to join her at her home for some delicious ‘Nueva Texicana’ treats by Tex’s Tacos food truck. On the menu are a variety of tacos and quesadillas but the biggest hit for my family was the ‘Texicana Lime Fries’ seasoned with lime salt, loaded with guacamole, pico de gallo, queso fresco, jalapenos and as if that wasn’t enough we had ours topped with steak. Let me tell you something-this was SO good! The steak was tender and well seasoned, the guac and pico de gallo were fresh and the lime salt added just enough zest to pique your taste buds’ curiosity.
I brought two hangry teens with me to the party and was beginning to regret that decision but once they got a belly full of tacos and quesadillas their moods changed drastically. It’s amazing what good food and a rousing game of cornhole will do.
Here’s a look at the menu for the day. I had a Pastor De Puerco quesadilla, a delicious combination of pork, cheese and pineapple. I highly recommend it.
Take a look at Tex’s Tacos Website to see where you can find them or have them roll up to your next party. Thanks Tex’s Tacos for the great food and thanks Lauren for the hospitality!
