While The Capital Grille Dunwoody delivers old school classic service it manages to feel fresh and young. The menu ranges from sea bass and tuna to lamb chops to lobster mac and cheese but steak is most definitely the star. Many thanks to The Capital Grille and to our co-host for the evening blogger Milla of Happily Eating for this fantastic evening and delicious meal.
We started the evening with The Capital Grille’s in house pineapple infused Vodka the Stoli Doli. Served ice cold, the pineapple have given all of it’s life to the vodka and I LOVE it. So simple yet so refreshing and dangerously smooth.
My second cocktail of the evening was the blackberry bourbon sidecar. I love bourbon so I’m almost always going to order a bourbon cocktail. This was fruity, rich and not too sweet, perfect for me.
We tried a variety of appetizers like beef tenderloin sliders and Cast Iron Garlic Shrimp with Olive Oil Crostini. Theresa from Red Velvet Confections posted this great pic of it

At The Capital Grille Dunwoody Steak is definitely the star. Here’s a pic from our co-host Milla’s Instagram. Doesn’t this filet mignon look delicious? It’s cooked perfectly, looking at this picture is making my mouth water!

Ribeye steak is still my favorite cut of beef so that’s what I ordered and I was NOT disappointed. Crispy Brussels sprouts were one of the sides we shared, the bit of char on them brings out the natural sweetness of the vegetable.
So cheers to The Capital Grille Dunwoody, Steak and cocktails make me happy and they do both of those well. I will certainly be back, probably for my anniversary. It’s coming up soon and I know my husband would enjoy this restaurant, steak and cocktails make him happy too.
