Teriyaki Turkey Wings

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped or 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated or 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes optional
  • 3 pounds of turkey wings

Instructions
 

  • Pre heat the oven to 325 degrees
  • Stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, pepper, vinegar, garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes
  • Pour this mixture into a roasting pan just large enough to fit the turkey wings in one layer
  • Cut the turkey wings at the joints and place them in the pan with the soy sauce mixture
  • Cover the pan well with foil and bake for 45 minutes
  • Turn the wings over, cover them again and bake for another 45 minutes
  • Turn the oven up to 425 degrees
  • Remove the foil and turn the wings again. bake for 15-20 minutes. (this will reduce the glaze and the wings will become sticky)
  • Serve with rice
