large shrimp
peeled and deviened

kosher salt
1/4-1/2
teaspoon
cayenne pepper

canola or grapeseed oil

andouille or linguica sausage

medium onion
1
green bell pepper
2
cloves
of garlic
2
cups
orzo pasta
1
cup
chicken broth
One 14 ounce can tomato sauce
One 14 ounce can diced tomatoes
red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions
Cook the orzo pasta according to package directions
Season the shrimp with salt and cayenne pepper
Saute the shrimp in the oil over medium heat for 2 minutes per side and remove from the pan
Slice the sausage and brown it on both sides
Dice the onion. pepper and garlic and add them to the pan with the sausage
Pour in the chicken broth, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes then simmer for 10 minutes
Stir in the shrimp and orzo, add red pepper flakes to taste
Serve
