How to make Scones | 4 Ingredient Berries and Cream Scones

  • 2 and 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar plus 2 tablespoons for topping you can reduce the sugar to 1/3 of a cup if you like your scones less sweet
  • 1 cup mixed dried berries,
  • 1 and 1/2 cups heavy cream plus 2 tablespoons for topping


  • pre heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Sift flour and sugar together
  • toss in dried berries
  • stir in cream
  • Form the dough into a ball
  • Divide the dough into 2 disks each about 5 inches in diameter
  • cut each dough disk into 6 triangles
  • Place the scones on a parchment lined sheet pan
  • Brush each scone with heavy cream and sprinkle each with sugar
  • Bake the scones for 12 -15 minutes rotating the pan halfway through baking
