The Taste of Atlanta has been going strong for more than a decade and it can easily leave you exhausted and confused if you don’t go with a strategy…I have that strategy

MAP IT OUT: Be sure to take a good look at a MAP of the Taste of Atlanta in advance, pick out the restaurants you most want to try and visit those first. With over 90 restaurants participating it would be difficult to taste it all and you don’t want to be too full to try a dish created by your favorite chef Taste of Atlanta sweetsavant.com America's best food blog

DRESS COMFORTABLY: You will be doing A LOT of walking ( I will most definitely be wearing flats) and A LOT of eating (some of the portions are big like these full sized CUP CAKES from Sugar Shack). Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Elastic waistbands are a plus. Taste of Atlanta sweetsavant.com America's best food blog3 GET THERE EARLY: Taste of Atlanta attracts a THOUSANDS of hungry patrons so it will be crowded, lines can be long but they tend to move quickly. If at all possible get there early so you can visit your favorites without much of a wait. Watch the short Instagram video below to get a look the fun crowd.

BRING THE KIDS: There are plenty of activities for the whole family-small kids, teens and adults will all find something entertaining at Taste of Atlanta. CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES is sponsoring Carnival Kids Corner with celebrities( two sport SUPERSTAR {he was a Falcon AND a Brave…AND he’s one of my clients} and current Atlanta Braves announcer Brian Jordan}, chefs, cooking demos and more Taste of Atlanta sweetsavant.com America's best food blog

DON’T BRING THE KIDS: If you’re planning on purchasing a VIP ticket they’re for folks ages 21 and over. Leave the kids at home and enjoy sips of some delicious libations UPDATE: Those VIP tickets are SOLD OUT! Get your General Admission Ticket HERE. While your getting you tickets check out the new re-loadable wristband system that will replaces the “taste tickets” this year.

TAKE A PICTURE, IT’LL LAST LONGER: You’ll eat a lot of things and it may get hard to remember the offerings you loved and which restaurants they came from. Take a picture of the tasty morsel with a card from the restaurant if they have one. If they don’t have a card try taking a picture with their sign in the back ground. When you get home later you’ll be able to scroll through your pics and pay your new favorite restaurant a visit Taste of Atlanta sweetsavant.com America's best food blog7 DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE: Be smart, take public transportation or UBER. Have fun and be safe
