It’s a pretty good day when the (not so) Angry Chef himself Ron Eyester serves you delicious meatballs, that’s exactly what happened at the Atlanta Meatball Festival preview party.

So MANY DELICIOUS meatballs were served last night to give us just a sneak peek at what we can expect on Sunday August 30th at the MEATBALL FESTIVAL (Belle Isle Square in Sandy Springs MORE INFO HERE>> ATLANTAMEATBALLFESTIVAL.COM

I WISH I could have included my own BARBECUED CHICKEN MEATBALLS in the festival. Click here for my recipe for them, they’re FANTASTIC!

Chefs from our host restaurant Cibo E Beve as well as Rosebud, Food 101, No 246 and Seven Lamps served us some delicious meatballs with recipes ranging from classic to WHAT’S THAT? Meatballs of all sorts were served pork, beef, chicken, duck and some containing eggplant. All of them delicious.

Meatballs were one of the first things I taught my kids to make. Here’s my recipe > CLASSIC MEATBALLS and TOMATO SAUCE

You can expect about 23 restaurants serving up meatballs at the festival on Sunday August 30th, that’s up from 17 participating restaurants last year. The list of restaurants is amazing, here’s just a taste:
